Overview

Mike's Golf Center is located near the heart of downtown St. Charles, IL, an affluent suburb of Chicago. Boasting one of the largest indoor academies in the state, the facility features 10,000sqft of training space with 14 high-end simulators, 2 pitching greens, proshop and lounge areas. During the summer months we partner with a local club to run junior programs in tandem with our indoor facility.

We serve juniors and adults through a variety of programming: 24/7 practice memberships, private instruction packages, group instruction packages, simulator golf leagues, local junior tour, junior camps, and online membership site. Our programs serve roughly 400 members on a weekly basis.

Applicant will help coach weekly junior/adult programs, provide private instruction, and help manage various parts of the operation.

We are seeking a career focused professional, with prior golf instruction/management experience, to help provide an elite private club experience for our students and members.

We are excited to offer a unique work schedule in the golf industry, including:

• 35-40 hour work week year round
• 2 days off every week with a consistent schedule (scheduled seasonly)
• 20-25 'Instructor Holidays' with the facility closed for the weekend around Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, 4 days at Thanksgiving and nearly 10 days around Christmas/New Year's.
• 10 additional PTO days per year (with management approval)

Experience Required

• Applicant must have prior golf instruction experience, former college golfer/high playing ability, or passion for coaching youth.

Essential Responsibilities

• Coaching Adult and Junior Programs, Clinics, Camps
• Instruct Adult and Junior Private Lesson Packages
• Help Maintain Facilities/Assist Members in Day to Day Operations.
• Administrative Assignments Progressing Our Brand Forward.
• Communicating With Students, Parents, Prospective Members.
