As Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving the profitability, performance, and customer satisfaction of our New and Used Vehicle Sales Departments. This hands-on position requires dynamic leadership and a proactive approach to managing people, inventory, process, and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute dealership business plans to drive growth in sales and financial services.
- Manage New and Used vehicle inventory, forecasting sales, and planning promotions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute monthly advertising and promotional strategies.
- Hire, coach, and develop a motivated sales team focused on performance and customer service.
- Support sales staff by assisting with customer interactions, desking deals, trade appraisals, and administrative tasks.
- Oversee sales goals, ensuring monthly targets are met or exceeded.
- Maintain a strong customer-centric culture and resolve client concerns efficiently.
- Promote training through regular sales meetings and ongoing mentorship.
- Stay current with OEM programs, financial products, vehicle trends, and compliance regulations.
- Ensure all dealership operations are in line with OMVIC, provincial laws, and health & safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Experience in Automotive Sales Management is a strong asset.
- Must have management experience in some capacity.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and goal-setting capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Flexible availability including some evenings and Saturdays
