Description
OverviewCallawassie Island prides itself on creating a premiere golf and lifestyle experience for its members and guests. We are a 27-hole facility with pool, 6 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts, a 20,000 square foot clubhouse, and a separate River Club complete with family pool and twin boat docking facilities. Our team's commitment to service and attention to detail generates an ideal environment for the membership to enjoy their day at the club.
This Part-Time Position is employed year-round with 2 weeks of planned closures for Golf Course Maintenance. Hours will fluctuate based on seasons, 20-30 hours per week.
- Experience in a private club setting is preferred

Experience Required
- Experience using Microsoft Office is a must. Golf Genius, JONAS POS, and GHIN Handicap system is a bonus.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage daily golf shop duties
- Assist with the management of the Tee Time System, ensuring that all members and guests are checked in and billed properly.
- Ensure items properly charged using Jonas POS
- Assist with inventory control
- Easily interact with diverse membership
- Ensure Golf Shop merchandise is stocked and orderly
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent customer services skills and the ability to speak effectively and present information to another person and in small group situations with guests and team members.
- Must have reasonable scheduling flexibility to meet the demands and seasonality of the position including working special events, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be reliable, dependable and be able to work independently.
- Must have an outgoing personality, positive attitude and team player mentality.
- Provide exceptional service to the membership and their guests.
- Responsible for assisting in all daily operations including assisting members with merchandise selections, booking tee times, answering phone calls, or any other member services required.
- Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.
