Overview

The Player Services Attendant is an all-around golf operations position supporting multiple departments. Day-to-day duties vary based on business levels, operational needs, and where assistance is needed within golf operations. The role requires the ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Experience Required

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hands, talk, or hear.
• Ability to occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, or crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work regularly in wet or humid conditions and frequently in outdoor weather conditions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean golf carts for play following Durango Hills GC standards.
• Perform range maintenance including setting up and maintaining range and chipping green presentation, maintaining range ball inventory, picking the range, and cleaning range balls.
• Maintain the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to guests including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• May direct start of play and assist in educating players regarding course policy, cart policy, and speed of play.
• Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Complete daily project list.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Service customers renting golf clubs, clean rental clubs upon return, and maintain accurate rental records.
• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
