Description
OverviewHallbrook Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and service-driven Player Services Lead to support our Golf Operations team in delivering a premier private club experience. This position serves as an on-duty leader within outside golf operations, working closely with the Player Services Manager and Golf Professional Staff to ensure exceptional service, operational efficiency, and a consistently first-class presentation of the facility.
The Player Services Lead plays a key role in supervising and developing the Player Services team, setting the standard for professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail. This individual will lead by example on the bag drop, practice facility, and cart staging areas, while ensuring all aspects of the member and guest experience-from arrival to departure-are executed at the highest level.

Experience Required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in golf operations, outside services, or a related hospitality role.
- Private club, resort, or high-end daily fee facility experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of golf operations, including bag drop procedures, cart fleet management, and practice facility operations.
- Familiarity with golf etiquette, terminology, and pace-of-play expectations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on member or guest service.
- Exposure to systems such as Golf Genius, Clubessential, or EZGO Pace is a plus.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Golf Professional Staff to deliver a welcoming, efficient, and elevated experience for all members and guests.
- Serve as the on-duty shift supervisor, providing leadership, direction, and support to Player Service Associates.
- Uphold and enforce Hallbrook's service standards, grooming expectations, and code of conduct.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure consistency, professionalism, and accountability.
- Coordinate with Locker Room and Golf Shop teams to create a seamless member and guest experience, especially during tournaments and events.
- Assist in daily operations, including workflow management, task delegation, and maintaining an organized, member-focused environment.
- Support golf cart fleet operations, ensuring all cars are clean, charged, and fully equipped.
- Oversee practice facility operations, including setup, presentation, and daily maintenance.
- Lead by example through active engagement on the bag drop, cart staging area, and practice facilities.
- Manage bag storage and handling, ensuring accuracy, care, and organization.
- Monitor equipment usage and staff performance to minimize loss or damage and maintain operational standards.
- Assist in the execution of tournaments, events, and outings.
- Communicate effectively with Golf Shop and Professional Staff regarding pace of play, weather, and operational needs.
- Act as a liaison between Player Services and Golf Operations to ensure clear and consistent communication.
- Promote and embody Hallbrook's culture, fostering a team-first environment built on accountability and service excellence.
