Your role and responsibilities
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead is responsible for driving successful adoption of large-scale business, process, and technology transformations. This role designs and executes the change strategy, ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged, trained, and prepared to embrace change.
The OCM Lead partners closely with executive sponsors, program leadership, HR, Communications, and business teams to minimize resistance, accelerate user adoption, and maximize business value from transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute a comprehensive OCM strategy aligned with program goals and timelines
• Define change impacts across people, processes, roles, and technology
• Create and maintain integrated change management plans, including communications, training, readiness, and stakeholder engagement
• Align change activities with overall program governance and milestones
Stakeholder Management & Engagement
• Identify and assess stakeholders; develop targeted engagement plans
• Partner with executive sponsors and business leaders to drive visible, active sponsorship
• Lead change champion and super-user networks
• Proactively identify resistance and implement mitigation strategies
Communications
• Develop and deliver clear, timely, and role-based communications
• Craft messaging that articulates the "why," "what," and "how" of change
• Coordinate with corporate communications and leadership teams
• Ensure consistent messaging across all channels
Training & Readiness
• Oversee training strategy and delivery approach
• Partner with functional and training teams to ensure effective learning materials
• Define role-based training paths and adoption metrics
• Conduct change readiness assessments and adjust plans accordingly
Adoption & Sustainability
• Track and report on adoption, engagement, and readiness metrics
• Support business leaders during go-live and hypercare periods
• Reinforce sustainment strategies post implementation
• Capture lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities
Leadership & Delivery
• Lead and mentor OCM practitioners and project resources
• Coordinate with program managers, functional leads, and system integrators
• Provide regular executive updates on change risks, progress, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
Experience
• 7+ years of Organizational Change Management experience
• 3+ years in a Lead or Manager-level OCM role
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs (ERP, digital, business transformation)
• Full lifecycle change experience (from strategy through post go-live adoption)
Change Management Expertise
• Hands-on experience with recognized change methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin)
• Strong understanding of change impact analysis, stakeholder management, and resistance mitigation
• Experience designing communications and training strategies
Business & Professional Skills
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Prosci Certification or equivalent change management certification
• Experience with SAP, Workday, Oracle, or large enterprise platforms
• Consulting or system integrator experience
• Experience working in manufacturing, healthcare, finance, or regulated industries

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
7+ years of Organizational Change Management experience and
3+ years in a Lead or Manager-level OCM role
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Business Process Optimization: Experience with analyzing business processes to identify areas for improvement, developing solutions to address business challenges, and enhancing business performance. • Transformation Strategy Development: Experience in developing strategies to drive transformation and change, working closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions. • Change Management Expertise: Experience in leading and delivering business transformation and change management initiatives, developing solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance business performance.
