What you can look forward to as a Mechanic 3
- Perform disassembly, inspection, and cleaning of parts
- Complete reassembly of gearboxes including implementing product updates.
- Inspect and reports failure analysis of product and parts.
- Rework parts as required (machining, drilling, etc.)
- Test gearboxes to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot/Diagnose test bench rejects.
- Work independently and may have limited travel locally to customer locations.
- Perform related tasks as assigned.
Your Profile as a Mechanic 3
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to read work instructions in English.
- At least 2 years previous mechanical experience.
- Basic math and equipment measurement skills in English and intermediate computer skills (order parts in ERP system) required.
- Technical or vocational school or 2+ years mechanical product experience preferred.
- Knowledge of hand or pneumatic tools; forklift or pallet jack experience
- Previous lean manufacturing experience helpful
Physical demands:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools; or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; verbally communicate and hear safety indicators; breathe through a respirator. The associate must frequently an repetitively lift and /or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

The expected base compensation for this role is $23.00 - $25.00 hourly. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position .
