Description
Responsibilities: Analyze Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and standards, licensing agreements, current inventory datasets, and toolsets to identify gaps and opportunities for optimization and remediation. Participate in SAM lifecycle, including licensing, purchasing, deploying, tracking, reporting, decommissioning, and harvesting software. Perform risk assessments and analyses of licensing positions for software vendors and provide license optimization advice. Conduct SAM current state assessments and software discovery tool implementations, configurations, and integrations.WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master's degree plus two (2) years of experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: ILMT; BigFix; Flexera; ServiceNow; VMware; Citrix; Symantec; Salesforce; AWS; Azure; and GCP. Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location depending on business need.
