Description

The Village of Oak Brook is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker I to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and installation work on Village roads, water and sewer systems, facilities, landscaping, and equipment. This role includes snow/ice removal and participation in after-hours emergency and on-call rotations. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  Maintain and repair water mains, valves, hydrants, sewer lines, lift stations, and storm systems
  Maintain Village streets, pathways, signs, lighting, and concrete/asphalt surfaces
  Operate hand tools, vehicles, and heavy equipment (dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, etc.)
  Perform landscaping, irrigation, and forestry tasks
  Use email, spreadsheets, and GIS mapping tools
  Work in all weather conditions and perform heavy physical labor
