Description
Provide and coordinate troubleshooting support for data warehouses. Design, implement, and operate comprehensive data warehouse systems to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, per client requirements. Perform system analysis, data analysis, and programming using a variety of computer languages and procedures. Define and implement a business operations strategy with processes that align with the overall information handling and protection strategy, including planning, execution, and monitoring responsibilities. Document process owners and create a decision tree which maps troubleshooting steps for key processes related to data handling. Oversee the implementation and documentation of the appropriate governance structure to prescribe data handling, protection, and user provisioning controls. Monitor the movement of data between zone-based containers to include raw, harmonized, enriched, curated, analytic and training zones. Administer operational activities related to data management, including metadata capture, data quality, data security, data lineage, and data inventory.WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. is required up to 5%.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience, of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Utilizing data warehousing technologies, including those related to data modelling and information architecture; Working in a data operations environment with full data product lifecycle; Utilizing enterprise tools, including Salesforce and Informatica; Acting as a primary technical lead on IT projects, including multimillion dollar projects; Utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks; Analyzing, designing, building, testing, and documenting data integration solutions; and Resource management and utilization.
Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.
