Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hardscaping Foreman to lead a crew in the installation of high-quality hardscape projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the trade inside and out and can ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew on hardscape installation projects
• Install paver patios, retaining walls, fire pits, and outdoor fireplaces
• Read and execute project plans and layouts
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including masonry saws
• Cut and shape pavers, bricks, and stone with precision
• Ensure proper base prep, grading, drainage, and compaction
• Maintain job site safety and cleanliness
• Communicate with team members and management on project progress
• Train and mentor crew members as needed

Qualifications

• Required: Proven experience in hardscape installation
• Strong knowledge of paver systems, wall systems, and outdoor living features
• Experience cutting brick/pavers with a saw
• Ability to read layouts and execute designs accurately
• Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
• Valid driver's license (preferred)

A Day in the Life

You'll start your day reviewing the project plan with your crew, organizing materials, and setting expectations for the day. From there, you'll be actively involved in the build-prepping the base, cutting and placing pavers, ensuring proper alignment, and troubleshooting any challenges on-site. You'll lead by example, keeping your crew productive and focused while maintaining quality and safety standards. By the end of the day, you'll leave behind visible progress you can be proud of.
