Lake Monticello Golf Course is an 18-hole, beautifully maintained championship course located within the Lake Monticello community. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional golf experience through outstanding course conditions, friendly service, and a welcoming environment for golfers of all skill levels. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Greenskeeper to join our maintenance team and help keep our course in top playing shape.

Position Overview
The Greenskeeper is responsible for assisting with the daily maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf, bunkers, landscaping, and course setup. This role is hands-on and outdoors, requiring someone who enjoys physical work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily mowing of greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
• Assist with bunker raking, edging, and sand maintenance
• Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles
• Help with irrigation tasks, including repairs and hand watering
• Apply basic turf care practices such as divot repair and topdressing
• Set up the course for daily play (cups, tee markers, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance facilities and equipment
• Follow all safety standards and operational procedures

Qualifications:

• Prior golf course or landscaping experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate small equipment or willingness to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
