Your role and responsibilities
As an Associate Oracle Package Specialist at IBM, you will assist clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of Oracle Cloud application solutions to meet business needs. Leveraging a growth mindset, you're ready and willing to deliver business value wherever needed.
In your role, you may be responsible for:
- Assisting clients in the selection, implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Cloud packaged software solutions.
- Making strategic recommendations andleveragingbusiness knowledge to drive Oracle-based solutions for clients and their management.
- Facilitating or supporting workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
- Developing process maps to understand As‑Is and To‑Be scenarios across ERP, HCM, SCM,EPM or CX.
- Using IBM's Design Thinking and Oracle best practices to solve client challenges.
- Supporting test execution, documentation, and data validation.
- Applying AI responsibly to summarize documentation, generate test cases, or support analysis.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Ability to translate business solutions into technical requirements.

Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience assisting with the selection, implementation, or support of Oracle Cloud or other packaged software solutions.
- Majors: MIS, Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or another related field.
- Coursework, capstones, part‑time jobs, internships or other experiences related to business processes in Finance (ERP), HR (HCM), Supply Chain (SCM), or Planning/Analytics (EPM).
- Strong spreadsheet and data skills; basic SQL or scripting is a plus.
- Client-facing internships, consulting clubs, strong process orientation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in fast‑paced environments.
