We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan.

*Requirements: APPs must have a minimum of one year of Emergency Medicine experience. No new graduates. Only qualified candidates will be contacted for consideration.

Position Profile:

• 51,000 patient encounters annually
• Level III Trauma Center
• 52 rooms including 4 trauma bays
• 12 room observation area
• 12-hour Advanced Practice Provider shifts
• 24 hours Advanced Practice Provider coverage daily
• EPIC EMR

The Corewell Health Lakeland Medical Center, a 196-bed hospital located in Berrien County, southwest Michigan, offers a wide range of advanced medical services. The hospital's specialized services include a chest pain center, stroke center, oncology, cardiology, pediatrics, and more. The hospital operates 24/7 with 42 private emergency department rooms equipped for cardiac observation and emergency care provided by board-certified physicians. It also features a fully accredited Osteopathic Emergency Medicine Residency program, which has been training medical professionals since 2011. Additionally, the hospital houses the Frederick S. Upton Education Center, which offers various health education programs for the community.

Corewell Health Lakeland is the primary healthcare system for Berrien County and serves patients from five surrounding counties. This not-for-profit community health system includes two acute care hospitals, one in St. Joseph and one in Niles.
