Description

We seek a principal procient in the following areas:

• Kind, caring, approachable and passionate about working in partnership with sta, parents and community to create a school culture and vision for learning for all students.
• Relationship-driven; believes academic performance is grounded in strong connections among students, sta and parents.
• Sound in their instructional knowledge and understanding and is able to support sta and  provide feedback in becoming exquisite instructors for all students.
• Naturally collaborative and organized in their positive leadership style
• Able to assist and guide sta using the CEL 5D+ Cycle of Inquiry process, encouraging sta to reect on their practice and grow.
• A good communicator in face-to-face interactions and through written correspondence.
• Visible in classrooms and around the building during key times of the day.
• Accessible to sta, students and parents.
• Skilled in distributing limited resources to meet goals of the building that will ultimately improve student achievement.
• A good listener, respectful and trustworthy in honoring dierent viewpoints.
• Current in understanding of educational research and ability to courageously lead innovative practices.
• Willing to have a strong commitment to the Black Diamond community and the Enumclaw School District

Requirements

Education…

Master’s degree in educational administration or related eld
Washington State principal certication

Successful Experience…

Supervising teaching and support sta
Minimum 5 years teaching experience preferred
Facilitating positive communication in a school community
