In the wide-ranging field of health human services consulting, OSC/Lewin provides both depth and breadth of expertise. At OSC/Lewin, we help federal decision-makers strengthen health and human services programs, make informed policy choices, and implement critical initiatives. OSC/Lewin also works with foundations and associations to research and evaluate complex health care and human services needs. By delivering objective, data-driven research, program planning and development, technical assistance, implementation, post-implementation analytics, and evaluations, OSC/Lewin supports current program activities, informs future program investments and supports strategic decision processes that improve the health and well-being of the nation's citizens.
The Consultant of Payment Model Technical Assistance will support technical assistance efforts, working on the development of high quality materials that build participant understanding of model requirements and equip them to succeed under value based payment approaches.
Working collaboratively with senior leaders and cross functional teams across the organization, the Consultant will deliver exceptional client service, produce high quality, timely deliverables, and drive innovation across the market.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage, develop, and sustain client relationships through policy consultation, strategic guidance, and thought leadership
- Support development of technical assistance materials that translate model requirements into actionable guidance for participants, including webinars, virtual office hours, written guidance, toolkits, FAQs, and other learning resources
- Ensure consistently high standards of accuracy, quality control, and attention to detail across all deliverables
- Collaborate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary project team
- Support business development and growth activities, including capture and proposal response

Required Qualifications:
- Masters or Ph.D. in health services research, public health, public policy, epidemiology, economics, statistics, or related field with 4+ years of experience in a research, consulting, or business environment OR Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience
- 4+ years of relevant health policy industry experience in healthcare consulting, program implementation, quality improvement, evaluation, and/or policy expertise
- 1+ years of experience working on value-based care payment initiatives
- Broad understanding of federal health policy issues, with ability to work in multiple areas serving as a subject matter expert
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to non-technical audiences

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
