Position Overview **Part-Time Position - 20 Hours per week**
The Clinical Education Specialist provides clinical expertise and leadership to design, develop, and deliver educational programs that advance case management practice across the organization. Partnering with internal teams, conference committees, and external stakeholders, this role creates high-quality learning experiences across conferences, webinars, publications, and digital platforms that align with national industry standards and evidence-based best practices. Supporting the full education and project lifecycle, this position drives successful execution, measurable learner impact, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Conference & Educational Program Development
Lead clinical oversight of high-quality educational programming for Chapter, National, International and Leadership Conferences
Guide and support Chapter Planning Committees in annual conference content development
Identify, secure, and coordinate keynote, general session, and closing session speakers for National, International and Leadership conferences
Oversee clinical accuracy and relevance of webinar and virtual education content
Develop and refine conference themes, learning objectives, and program structure
Content Strategy, Publications & Marketing Review
Provide clinical review and editorial guidance for publications and digital content, including white papers, podcasts, website content, and educational materials
Review marketing and promotional materials to ensure clinical accuracy, relevance, and audience alignment
Ensure consistency of clinical messaging across all internal and external communications and campaigns
Committee & Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as clinical resource for case management practice trends and emerging healthcare topics
Support national, international and leadership conference planning committees, focus groups, and ad hoc workgroups
Provide clinical consultation across departments and client-facing educational initiatives
Data, Evaluation & Compliance
Analyze conference and program evaluation data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Compile and interpret learner feedback, speaker performance metrics, and content effectiveness data
Ensure continuing education (CE) submissions meet accreditation standards in collaboration with CE staff
Review and approve CFP (Call for Proposals) submissions, including scoring and selection input
Support CE accreditation applications and compliance documentation
Strategic & Organizational Support
Act as clinical SME across departments for program development and strategic initiatives
Support full conference lifecycle activities including program proofing (bios, abstracts, learning objectives)
Contribute to keynote and closing session development with expanded oversight responsibilities
Provide ad hoc clinical review for external and partner programs (e.g., IONL)
Ensure alignment of education initiatives with organizational priorities and strategic goals
Requirements
Education & Experience
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Social Worker required; master’s degree required
Minimum of 5 years of clinical case management experience required
Experience as a case management educator strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience in customer/member service and issue resolution
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams and stakeholders
Strong presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills
Adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable working in evolving environments

Ability to analyze and interpret professional literature, standards, and industry guidance
Strong public speaking skills with experience presenting to committees, clients, and teams
Skilled in problem-solving in complex, semi-structured environments
Ability to interpret and apply written, visual, and diagram-based instructions
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Comfortable working with data tracking, reporting, and CRM platforms
Travel Requirements
Approximately 10–15% annual travel required
Occasional weekend travel for conferences and events
