Juniper Preserve is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of seasonal full time and/or part time Bell Staff. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.Hourly Rate: $22/hour
Seasonal Opportunity
Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday (Fridays added in high season) 2:30pm - 11pm
SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Bell Staff will be to provide a warm and welcoming experience for all resort guests, resort members, and their guests. The Bell Staff will act as an ambassador for Juniper Preserve by providing exceptional service and providing detailed information regarding property outlets and featured amenities. Members of the Bell Staff will be required to perform guest transportation as needed, park guest vehicles, and deliver routine errands. Valid Oregon Driver License and clean driving record is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:
- Daily arrivals/departures/house count;
- Features and services of the property;
- Hours of operation for each outlet;
- Parking facilities, layout and procedures;
- Scheduled daily group activities and resort functions;
- Must demonstrate a guest driven style of service with an upbeat, friendly sense of urgency in all interactions with all guests.
- Greet and welcome all guests that come to the property with an enthusiastic yet professional manner.
- Assist with check-ins, check-outs, pre-arrival inspections, and general errands.
- Assist guests with room orientation, luggage assistance, owner storage bins, and educate guests to property amenities and features.
- Maintain organization & cleanliness of Trailhead amenities, pool area, patio, and towels.
- Complete opening and closing checklists.
- Work a varying schedule to include evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Manage the workflow effectively and in an organized and timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of all company vehicles including golf carts.
- Assist guests with parking vehicles in designated parking areas.
- Complete guest errands such as grocery shopping or deliveries as assigned by management.
- Must maintain the privacy of all Juniper Preserve guests.
- Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintains a professional standard at Juniper Preserve including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the resort, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests.
- Maintains a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Guest Services Manager or Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- College or university qualifications are beneficial. Any in-house training sessions which the applicant has performed in past employment.
SKILLS
Required:
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, memos and email correspondence.
- Ability to write complex correspondence with staff and guests.
- Ability to effectively communicate information to both guests and staff.
- Ability to hold and comprehend phone conversations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to multi-task to provide solutions to situations deal with several variables
- Use of Google platform, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic Accounting skills.
- Ability to fully comprehend complex equipment instructions.
