Company History

Central Wisconsin Pharmacy has a long-standing history rooted in community service and independent retail pharmacy care. Originally founded as Bentley Pharmacy, the business was owned and operated by Kenneth Bentley beginning in the 1950s. For decades, Bentley Pharmacy served as a trusted healthcare cornerstone for residents in the surrounding rural communities.

After growing up in the area, Eric Jachthuber pursued his pharmacy education and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Drake University in 2005. Prior to and following graduation, he spent 15 years working for Walgreens, gaining extensive experience in retail pharmacy operations and patient care.

In 2017, Eric returned home and began working for Bentley Pharmacy, reconnecting with the communities that helped shape him. In March of 2024, he purchased the three Bentley Pharmacy locations, ushering in a new chapter for the business.

With the transition in ownership, the pharmacies were rebranded as Central Wisconsin Pharmacy—honoring the strong legacy established by Kenneth Bentley while embracing a forward-looking vision. Today, Central Wisconsin Pharmacy continues its tradition of trusted, personalized care while expanding clinical services and strengthening its role as a vital healthcare resource for the communities of Montello, Princeton, and Westfield
