We are looking for a motivated, eager-to-learn individual to join our facilities inspection team.

The Loudoun Water Facilities Inspector will assist in ensuring constructed public water and sewer facilities is durable, reliable and meets all specifications by performing technical construction inspections and coordinating with Loudoun Water departments as required.  Inspection work will include linear and facility projects. The ability to read technical drawings and specifications for multi-discipline installations (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.) is required.

Requirements

Requirements:  Graduation from high school and five years of water and wastewater facility construction or inspection experience.  Experience in interpreting and enforcing contract documents (submittals, construction drawings, project specifications) during facility construction is required.  Basic computer skills including using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; knowledge of computer/smart phone use to perform and document daily activities.  Knowledge in project management software (Procore or other) is desired.  Must be willing to advance job knowledge through formal training.  Ability to work overtime as position may require work outside of normal working hours.  The individual must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
