Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel LLP is seeking qualified attorneys to join its growing legal team. The ideal candidates will have strong litigation skills, sound legal judgement, and a commitment to excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters while developing professionally within a respected practice group.
Position Overview:
The Attorney will be responsible for handling litigation matters across the firm's specialized practice areas and will be responsible for handling most aspects of litigation, including legal drafting, handling discovery requests and responses, conducting legal research, written discovery, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, client and witness interviews, arbitration and trial preparation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of current experience working in a trial law firm preferred
- Background & knowledge specializing in the firm's specialized practice areas
- Proficient writing and oral advocacy skills
- Superior legal research & analytical abilities
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and a strong academic record preferred
- Active member of the Florida Bar (additional state admissions preferred)
