JOB INFORMATION:  The Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach is responsible for leading all aspects of the Lexington High
School volleyball program, promoting program development from the middle school through the varsity level,
fostering positive relationships within the school community, prioritizing the holistic development of young
women, and pursuing competitive excellence with the goal of winning championships. The ideal candidate is a
visionary leader who models integrity, discipline, and strong work ethic.

SCHOOL INFORMATION: Lexington High School is a 5A high school located 25 minutes outside Columbia, the capital city of South Carolina.  We are looking for an experienced head coach to lead our team into the future.  We have two feeder middle schools, and a robust JV and Varsity roster.  We also offer our athletes a volleyball/strength and conditioning class in which our coach can be involved with and potentially train, practice, and develop year round. We are the largest 5A school in the midlands of South Carolina and have great facilities, resources, and fan support to go along with a rich history of success.  

Requirements

Full-time candidates for this job must have a valid South Carolina teaching certificate, or be able to apply for reciprocity from their current state.  The main part of the salary is the teacher salary with the volleyball stipend being between $5-$8k (Stipend amount based on years of experience).  We do have potential classified positions available to hire coaches in the building. 

3-5 years of minimum, high level varsity/club coaching experience required, with priority going to head coach experience.
