Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in human development across the lifespan from an asset-based perspective (e.g., infancy, early childhood, and adolescent development, family relationships)
Develop and maintain an active, externally fundable research agenda
Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at professional conferences
Teach and work in an in-person (on-campus) environment
Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
Engage in department, college, and university service
Contribute to community-engaged scholarship and outreach consistent with the mission of the University
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Earned doctorate (Ph.D., PsyD., or Ed.D.) in Human Development, Developmental Psychology, Child & Family Studies, or another closely related field
Demonstrated evidence of potential for effectiveness in teaching and communication at the college level
Demonstrated commitment to research and scholarly productivity
Commitment to working with diverse student populations and communities
