Position Description:
The University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work is seeking to hire a Part-Time Temporary - Academic Support Specialist III.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process student applications for practicum including; advising students on practicum opportunities, navigating students through the referral, interviewing, and placement confirmation process
- Secure required documentation from students, practicum instructors and task supervisors and community organizations
- Maintain accurate and current information about placement sites and assigned students listed in the practicum tracking software program including entering regularly contacts, documenting process and updating data as needed
- Attend weekly individual supervision and team meetings
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Requires occasional travel between University buildings
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work
- Have at least two years' experience as a practicum instructor or practicum liaison, preferably with Kent School students
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher.
