Your role and responsibilities
As a Product Sales SME for Automation Platform - App Dev & Integration, you will utilize your deep knowledge and experience with IBM's Application Development and Integration products to drive business growth. Your expertise will enable clients to leverage the full potential of IBM's Automation Platform, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and Enterprise Application Service for Java. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Drive Solution Delivery: Develop and deliver tailored solutions to clients, leveraging your expertise in IBM's Application Development and Integration products, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and Enterprise Application Service for Java.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide guidance on how to maximize the value of IBM's Automation Platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Provide Product Expertise: Offer in-depth knowledge and support for IBM's Application Development and Integration products, including API Connect, App Connect, Aspera, and WebSphere Application Server.
• Shape Client Solutions: Utilize your expertise to shape and define solutions that meet clients' specific needs, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of IBM's Automation Platform.
• Develop Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive sales growth and increase client adoption of IBM's Application Development and Integration products.

Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Knowledge of IBM Application Development and Integration Products: In-depth experience with IBM's Application Development and Integration products, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, Enterprise Application Service for Java, and other related offerings.
• Expertise in Solution Delivery: Proven ability to develop and deliver tailored solutions to clients, leveraging expertise in IBM's Application Development and Integration products to drive business growth.
• Technical Proficiency in API and Integration Tools: Experience with API Connect, App Connect, Aspera, WebSphere Application Server, and other related tools and technologies.
• Strong Understanding of Client Needs: Ability to work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide guidance on maximizing the value of IBM's Automation Platform.
• Experience with Go-to-Market Strategies: Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive sales growth and increase client adoption of IBM's Application Development and Integration products.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Additional IBM Product Knowledge: Experience with Spectrum High Performance Computing, DataPower, Event Automation, Financial Transactions, Payments & Insights, Hybrid IPaaS, MQ, webMethods API Management, webMethods Data Exchange, webMethods Integration, and WebSphere Service Registry/Repository.
• Broad Integration Expertise: Familiarity with Cloud Native Gateway and other related integration tools and technologies.
• Advanced Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Cloud Pak for Integration and its applications in various industries.

US Citizenship Required.
The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
