Responsibilities:
- Provide client-focused accounting advisory assistance on transactions involving consolidation, stock compensation, leasing, and other topics
- Lead the education and development team of associates to managers around similar technical accounting topics
- Partner with our broader engagement transactions on mergers and acquisitions, sell-side transactions, and capital market transactions on technical accounting matters in these areas
- Assist our KPMG audit engagement teams with technical review and audit over transactions in similar technical accounting topics
- Identify and build long-term business relationships with new target clients and key executives
- Lead the education and development of a team of Accounting Advisory resources through formalized education and client service opportunities
- Act with integrity and professionalism to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent experience with a public accounting firm, advisory services firm, or a large multinational organization conducting financial audit or corporate accounting
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field is required; licensed CPA or CPA equivalent is required
- Strong current knowledge in at least one of consolidation (including complex variable interest entity evaluations), stock compensation, and/or leasing under both US GAAP and IFRS
- Demonstrated ability to connect with senior executives of leading organizations to generate new business relationships and projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams comprised of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
- Willingness and ability to travel
