Located in the heart of Camillus, NY, Camillus Golf Club is a busy, semi-private 18-hole facility known for its vibrant tournament schedule, active leagues, and welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests, and we are seeking an energetic, visible, and outgoing PGA Professional to lead our golf operations and player development programs.

The Player Development Professional is a seasonal, full-time position (April 1 - October 31), reporting directly to the owner. A maximum of 24 hours per week will be required in the Golf Shop. The ideal candidate is a strong mentor, passionate about growing the game, and excels in both operations and member engagement.

Experience Required

• PGA Membership (Class A) preferred
• Proven experience in teaching, player development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; outgoing and approachable personality
• Experience with women's and junior programming highly preferred
• Proficient with golf shop POS, tee sheet, and Golf Genius
• Ability to work a flexible, seasonal schedule (6 days/week, including weekends and holidays)

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and facilitate robust player development programs, with a focus on women's and junior golf
• Provide private lessons and clinics
• Spend a maximum 24 hours per week in the golf shop, with the remainder dedicated to member engagement, lessons, and programs
• Serve as a visible, approachable leader on the course and in the clubhouse
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and golf shop operations as needed
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and service-oriented environment for members and guests
• Communicate pro-actively with the owner and other department heads
• PGA Junior League programming is highly encouraged
