SUMMARY: The Supply Technician performs supply tasks to include inventory and storage management, cataloging and related property utilization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receives, processes, and completes Local Purchase Request (PR).
• Inspect, count, segregate, tag, and sort items as directed.
• Prepares supply documents.
• Maintains records in an automated supply system.
• Orders, receives, issues, inventories, and stores supplies.
• Analytical abilities to locate and catalog stock; record keeping; accurately collect data; define supply problems; run reports; enter and retrieve data from computer tracking systems; and follow recommended procedures and established guidelines.
• Provides services in support of asset requisition, receipt, short-term holding, inventory, issue, redistribution, classification, turn-in, maintaining hand receipts/annexes, adjustment reports, reconciliations and serial number and unique item tracking.
• Process products ordered through AIRBUS for LUH-72 aircraft, order and process local purchases to meet mission requirements.
• Provide technical assistance regarding changes to regulations, policies, and procedures for required delivery services.
• Post Goods Issues (PGI) through Global Combat Support System (GCSS-ARMY).
• Post Goods Receipts (PGR) through Global Combat Support System (GCSS-ARMY).
• Receives and Issues materials in Enterprise Environmental Safety Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS)

• Ensures items are turned-in and issued with the proper paperwork and certifications needed by the ISSA and DLADS.

• Must be reliable, responsible, and able to fulfill obligations.
• Must wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) -Safety Shoes are required and are a condition of employment. The employee must start work on day 1 with the appropriate safety shoes Preferred:
• Forklift certification preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to customers, internal and external, clients and other employees in the organization. Ability to interpret instructions and information and explain to others in the performance of this job in English. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. Considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS: This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site. May be exposed to inclement/extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location. Job will require working flexible hours, sometimes under short notice, to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required. This position supports the DOD on a federal installation and the candidate must be available to work at the assigned physical location during business hours. "This position does not have authorization to access the warehouse, past the customer service counter" EXPECTATIONS: • Transportation & Access: You must have reliable transportation to and from work and be able to access military installations. • Background & Drug Screening: Employment requires passing a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Random drug and alcohol testing may also occur without prior notice. • Timesheets: Record your actual work hours daily and ensure your entries are accurate and timely to support smooth operations. • Dress & Punctuality: Arrive on time and dress appropriately for your shift. BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS: All employees are required to undergo an initial background investigation as a condition of employment. Additionally, employees may be subject to subsequent background investigations if circumstances warrant, such as the emergence of a need, an issue, or probable cause. Employees assigned to work on federal installations or projects must also comply with government-mandated background investigations, which are conducted independently of the company's investigations. Employment and continued assignment to federal installations are contingent upon successfully meeting and maintaining these requirements.

- Three to five years of experience in the military supply field with two year of experience with Hazardous Materials
- Certificate in Global Combat Support SystemArmy (GCSS-A) or other Logistics Information Systems (LIS) automated systems
- Must have Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) certification
- Familiar with the chemistry of hazardous materials to prevent improper storage and exercise proper waste segregation
- Familiar with Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP), AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1.
- Must be trained and certified in accordance with requirements of 29 CFR Part 1910.120, 29 CFR Part 1915.1200, 40 CFR Part 265.16 and 49 CFR Part 172.704
- Practical knowledge of a wide range of established supply management and hazardous material policies and processes, and the ability to apply a variety of common methods and techniques to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of these various supply programs
- Ability to identify needed remedies or improvements
- Skilled in effective oral and written communication to explain regulations, update policy and instructions, conduct investigations, provide program information to management and customers, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the organization's supply operation. Guidelines consist of supply, procurement and automation manuals and regulations as well as applicable Department of Defense, Department of the Army, Major Command and local instructions and policies. Guidelines are numerous and not always directly applicable. Employee must use considerable judgment, based on extensive past training experience in researching and applying regulations in order to determine the applicability and relationship between guidelines and program goals.
