A day in the life of a Sales & Service Design Thinking Intern might include:
We will immerse you in meaningful experiences and projects that deliver tangible business impact. Working with us, you’ll have the opportunity to network with Sales, Service business and Technology team to design and deliver best in class digital assets to support our Personal Lines distribution partners while gaining real world experience learning from experienced design members, finding mentors, and establish meaningful relationships to last a lifetime.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to achieve the delivery of the next best experience for our customers.
- Apply design thinking principles to uncover user needs, define problems, ideate solutions, prototype experiences, and test concepts.
- You may be asked to craft customer experience strategies, drive customer experience projects, and conduct analytics across one or more Verizon Consumer Group functional units.
- Digital Experience - Support strategy development for digital and engagement experiences.
- Provide perspective on emerging industry trends and the competitive landscape to provide insight on ways to improve the customer experience and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with design and partner teams across the business to both learn and contribute to the design process responsible for designing, optimizing, and planning the future of user journeys across e-commerce experiences for Verizon consumers.
- Using Artificial Intelligence strategically to personalize customer experiences.
A successful Sales & Service Design Thinking Intern at Nationwide has:
Education
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, User experience Design, computer science especially with UX/UI, UX
- Completion of junior year is preferred
- Involvement in student activities and/or some work experience
- 3.0 GPA or higher is desired
- Interest and exposure to design thinking and innovation concepts
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate in a team environment
- Natural curiosity to explore and question
