Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Application Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform that align with business needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing across various ServiceNow modules, building custom applications, and integrating third-party systems using best practices and platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows
• Build and maintain custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and App Engine
• Develop scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, etc.)
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications via REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Maintain documentation related to development processes, architecture, and solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Stay current with new ServiceNow features and releases, and make recommendations for improvements
• This job can be performed anywhere in the US

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow
• Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
• Experience with core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
• Understanding of data modeling, ACLs, and platform security
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred technical and professional experience

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Experience developing custom applications on ServiceNow App Engine
• Knowledge of ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to ITIL practices and service management processes

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
