Your role and responsibilities
Senior Managing Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):
- Work with clients to define key objectives and design advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) prompts that deliver precise, valuable outputs aligned with business goals.
- Transform clients' data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes, and collaborating on product development.
- Incorporate AI Governance concepts as Fairness, Bias, Transparency, into model development process and ensure team follows principles during engagements.
- Conduct in-depth testing and analysis of AI-generated content, pioneering innovative prompt engineering techniques to enhance accuracy and relevance.
- Mentor junior data scientists and consultants in data science best practices and relevant industry domain to project work, as model selection for Generative and Traditional AI, plus enabling continuous improvement through model monitoring metrics.
- Leverage AI-driven techniques, as Generative AI, to remove traditional manual processes to operate the company's products and services.
- Work with senior stakeholders internally and clients, to provide solutions to business objectives that leverage AI technologies, as watsonx or hyperscaler offerings (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google).
- Communicate complex AI based modelling outputs aligned with client key objectives into understandable actions where various senior stakeholders and clients can enact upon.
- Utilize: Watsonx toolsets (ie. Wastonx.ai, Wastonx.data, Watsonx.Orchestrate), Python, Frameworks and latest industry toolsets (such as Scipy, Sentence Transformers, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn), BI dashboarding technologies (such as Power BI, COGNOS), Natural Language Process (NLP), MLOps, GenAI Transformer Architecture.
Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Data Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Data Scientist, Cognitive Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Watsonx toolsets (ie. Wastonx.ai, Wastonx.data, Watsonx.Orchestrate), Python, Frameworks and latest industry toolsets (such as Scipy, Sentence Transformers, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn), BI dashboarding technologies (such as Power BI, COGNOS), Natural Language Process (NLP), MLOps, GenAI Transformer Architecture. $176076 to $225000 per year.
