Client Project Manager are Delivery Leaders who have the knowledge and experience to manage engagements in IBM Consulting for SAP implementations. They are responsible for managing all elements of the Program and contract in order to deliver a successful and profitable outcome for the client and IBM.
Your role and responsibilities
Your Role and Responsibilities
A Client Project Manager is responsible for the end to end management and deliver of a successful and profitable SAP engagement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delight the client
- Identify key stakeholders
- Create and maintain stakeholder map
- Understand and manage client expectations
- Develop and implement communications plan
- Manage the contract
- Ensure all parties understand the contract
- Create Documents of Understating (DoUs) when working with other business units
- Create the governance structure
- Deliver against the contract
- Execute flawlessly
- Manage profitability
- Manage financials
- Manage all parties to acheive milestones
- Create on team
- Work as a trusted advisor to client
This role can be performed from anywhere in the US.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Client Project Manager for SAP must have had full end to end responsibility for delivery and for the financial performance for at least 2 SAP implementations with approximately 25 or more FTEs managed during SAP implementation projects.
They should excel at the following:
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Advanced skills in Program and Projact Management
- Extraordinary leadership and motivational skills
- Deep knowledge of client environments, business, industry, and SAP
- Ability to adopt a commercial mindset and deliver financially
Preferred technical and professional experience
SAP Certifications
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certifications
Agile Certifications

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
