Envision is seeking an accomplished Emergency Department Medical Director to join this high profile and flagship hospital situated in sunny and vibrant Miami! This is one of the few positions in Emergency Medicine that combines the complexities of a large sophisticated medical center with the reward of working in a state-of-the-art Hospital/Emergency Department coupled with the extensive resources and support programs made available by Envision.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine & clinically active in Emergency Medicine
• Have previous leadership / administrative experience
• Proven track record of implementing metrics/goals
• Have strong administrative and team building skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Position Profile:

• Annual ED Volume: 90,000
• 80-bed ED, plus 14-bed Fast Track
• Adult-only ED; pediatrics separate
• 2 Assistant Medical Directors
• Level II Critical Care Facility
• Cerner EMR
• Admission Rate: 38%
• Excellent coverage with 9- and 10-hour shifts
• Advanced Practice Provider and Scribe coverage
• All subspecialties available
• Long-term, stable contract
• Professional and collegial work environment
