Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize SAP-based manufacturing solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver scalable, integrated solutions across manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
Define end-to-end SAP manufacturing architecture across core modules such as:
SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing
SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP ME/MII (Manufacturing Execution & Integration)
SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM)
SAP EWM integration for shop floor
Design scalable and efficient solutions aligned with Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives
Develop technical architecture diagrams, integration patterns, and solution blueprints
Implementation & Delivery
Lead and support end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades
Provide guidance on system configuration, customization, and integration design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SCM, Procurement, Logistics, Quality)
Integration & Technology
Architect integrations with:
MES systems
Shop floor equipment (IoT, PLCs)
Third-party applications
Leverage SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) for extensions and integration
Drive adoption of cloud-based SAP manufacturing solutions
Business Engagement
Partner with manufacturing stakeholders to:
Gather and refine requirements
Translate business needs into technical solutions
Provide expert advice on manufacturing best practices and process optimization
Governance & Standards
Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance models
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to adopt new SAP innovations such as:
AI/ML in manufacturing
Predictive maintenance
Digital twins
Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of SAP experience, with strong focus on manufacturing solutions
Proven expertise in:
SAP PP / PP-PI
SAP ME/MII or SAP Digital Manufacturing
SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing
Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations (at least 23 full lifecycle projects)
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (discrete and/or process industries)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP BTP, integration suites, and API-based architectures
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, and smart factory technologies
SAP certifications (e.g., S/4HANA Manufacturing, Solution Architect)
Familiarity with Agile/DevOps delivery models
Experience with global rollouts and multi-site manufacturing environments

Leadership and mentoring capabilities
Nice-to-Have
Experience with non-SAP MES platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
Knowledge of advanced planning tools (IBP, APO)
Exposure to data analytics platforms and BI tools
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
10+ years of SAP experience, with strong focus on manufacturing solutions
Proven expertise in:
SAP PP / PP-PI
SAP ME/MII or SAP Digital Manufacturing
SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing
Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations (at least 23 full lifecycle projects)
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Advanced SAP IBP Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP IBP capabilities, including designing, implementing, and configuring IBP-based Supply Chain Planning solutions, to drive business agility and optimize supply chain operations. • Supply Chain Optimization: Experience with optimizing supply chain operations, improving supply chain planning, and increasing business agility through effective use of SAP IBP, to deliver high-quality client-facing solutions. • Solution Design Expertise: Experience designing and implementing tailored solutions using SAP IBP to meet clients' business requirements, driving business outcomes and fostering strong relationships.
