Description
Job Description:The Business Banking Lending and Cash Management team (L&CM) is a customer-focused team comprised of subject matter experts across conventional lending, Small Business Administration (SBA), and Cash Management who play a key role in supporting both our clients and our internal partners. Planning, execution and continuous improvement are critical to the team's success.
As the Sales Strategy & Support Analyst in Business Banking, you will lead the development and delivery of new hire training, refresher training, and communications related to policy changes within Business Banking conventional and SBA lending. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert on processes and procedures, ensuring that training materials and updates are accurate and effectively communicated.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver new hire training programs for Business Banking conventional and SBA lending teams.
- Coordinate and facilitate refresher training sessions to ensure ongoing team competency and compliance.
- Create, update, and distribute communications regarding policy and procedure changes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on business processes and procedures, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure all training materials and process updates are accurate, current, and effectively communicated.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify training needs and support business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, recommending improvements as needed.
- Maintain documentation and records related to training activities and policy updates.
- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and team performance.
- Travel for training needs.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Financial Services, Business Banking, Lending, and strategic operations, with a focus on training and process documentation.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently coordinate multiple training initiatives and deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills to identify learning needs, assess training effectiveness, and provide insights that support continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Pitch Pro, with the ability to create clear, engaging training materials and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in training, process improvement, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct needs assessments, ask insightful questions, and recommend enhancements to training programs and processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring training content and reports are accurate and actionable.
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex information and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality in all training deliverables.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel (including pivot tables and macros) to support the development and analysis of training materials and reports.
