Position Summary

This position will support setup, operations, and sustainment of a radar surveillance payload and supporting ground station equipment integrated into an aerostat and ground control station. System training will be provided in advance of movement to the systems employment in Poland.

Job Description

• Field Support Representative (FSR) personnel provide support at designated OCONUS operational locations.
• Operations/support will be for the Aerostat System LWR-ESR/TR10.
• Lead radar operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks.
• Conduct continued training for Aerostat System technician personnel on radar O&M to include preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with CONUS engineering staff for radar operational issues and reach back needs.
• Support the development of O&M documentation.
• Demonstrate complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
• General knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
• Work under only general direction; independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
• Performance is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.
• Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
• Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Experience and Job Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• BS/BA in relevant field of study required. Related experience may be substituted for education at the rate of 2 years experience for each year of education.

Qualifications/Certifications -

• Shall have a Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship.
