JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role Summary:
KB Signaling continues to strive for excellence and for this reason we are excited to create the position of Quality Specialist. This position will report directly to the site Quality Manager in support of Warrensburg and Grain Valley Missouri manufacturing locations. This position will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training in support of the operations workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing in achievement of Quality KPI's
- Analyze non-conformances that occur during manufacturing
- Lead Root Cause analysis (QRQC, 8D)
- Collect and utilize Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA) data, use in person collaboration to build employee facing training modules.
- Lead Training Board meetings which include Operations Management, Quality Management, Engineering Management. Utilize collaboration and feedback for framing of hard and soft requirements for training deliverable development.
- Use tools such as PowerPoint, Articulate 360, for development of training modules, and Instructor guides.
- Manage training module introduction, gain lessons learned for improvements.
- Organize and catalog deliverables.
- Utilize quality defect data to identify shortcomings in training.
- Support day-to-day Quality evolutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Training development is a must, quality or manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Technical associate's degree, vocational training certificate, or military NCO experience will be considered. Manufacturing experience may be used in lieu of the above.
- Technical aptitude is critical, can grasp and understand key points in manufacturing and how they should be delivered as a training product.
- Savvy in PowerPoint, ability to condense information into usable technical instruction.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, video editing, ability to learn Articulate 360

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Grain Valley is $56,900 to $85,300 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. KB Signaling is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year. Employees will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies. Employees working on federal contracts covered by the Federal Paid Sick Leave requirements will be notified and will receive benefits consistent and compliant with the FPSL requirements. Hired applicant will be able to purchase company stock, subject to the relevant plan documents and annual bonuses based on achievement of certain metrics of up to 4% of annual salary.
