HDLA is seeking an exceptional leader to join our Jackson, Wyoming studio as a Project Manager / Senior Landscape Architect. The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following qualifications and skills:
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7-12 years of professional office experience in a landscape architecture office.
- BLA and/or MLA in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university program.
- Registered Landscape Architect in the State of Wyoming, or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Strong design sensibility with a portfolio of design-driven projects demonstrating built work.
- Extensive project management experience leading internal and consultant teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills – both internal and client facing.
- High level of technical proficiency
- Expertise in the design and documentation process from concept development to construction observation as well as entitlements processing.
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling, Adobe Creative Suite and Office Suite and project management software programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project design and documentation from concept design through construction observation.
- Manage client communications and expectations.
- Mentor and guide junior designers throughout the design and documentation process.
- Demonstrated experience leading the technical documentation of built projects.
- Participate in business development efforts and prepare/strategize project proposals
