We are currently in search of a Client and Volunteer Program Manager for a specialized disability nonprofit. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chicago, IL. This is a permanent assignment.

SALARY: $60,500-63,500/year

This nonprofit organization provides services to blind and visually impaired adults and adolescents in the Chicagoland area. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Client and Volunteer Program Manager is a dual-role position that combines Client Programming, Volunteer Management and Support, and concomitant marketing strategies and execution.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree
3 years of experience in nonprofit program administration
3 years of experience in digital and traditional marketing
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
History of or desire to work with the blind
Ability to work the 3rd Saturday of every month
Ability to work from 11:00am – 7:00pm on Mondays and Thursdays
How You Will Spend Your Day:
Recruit new Volunteers and Clients through social media and other marketing avenues
Market new and existing programs and services
Update website frequently to reflect new programming, events, and activities
Interview and onboard new clients and volunteers
Coordinate client/volunteer reading appointments using Microsoft Outlook and the Better Impact platform
Support volunteers through regular check-ins
Conduct regular volunteer training classes
Master Better Impact, volunteer management platform
Compose and distribute monthly Client newsletter
Create “Volunteer Quarterly” newsletter
Design and plan client social activities and events
Serve as a client ambassador and advocate, ensuring a positive experience
Monitor, evaluate, and report on each volunteer and client activity
Provide a monthly dashboard highlighting metrics
Provide narratives and required data for grant proposals
