Description
George Mason University College of Public Health is hiring a Postdoctoral Scholar to contribute to NIH- and NSF-funded research in digital health innovation in the context of personalized care for aging and chronic conditions. The scholar will collaborate with an interdisciplinary, multi-institutional research team and receive strong mentorship to support the transition to an independent researcher career.
Key opportunities include developing and evaluating innovative digital health interventions, managing multiple community-engaged digital intervention trials, leading research papers, writing pilot and career development grants, and guest teaching in graduate courses. The appointment is full-time, in-person for a minimum of one year (renewable up to three years) and will be supervised by Dr. Alicia Hong.
Requirements
Doctoral degree completed in public health, social/behavioral sciences, psychology, informatics, or a related field; strong quantitative and communication skills; peer-reviewed publication, interest in digital health and AI in healthcare.
