Description

The University of Toledo College of Medicine & Life Sciences, General Surgery Residency has a categorical PGY-2 opening beginning January 1, 2026 due to resident transfer. Eligible candidates must have successfully completed a PGY-1 year and at least 5 months of PGY2, in an ACGME-accredited program and be in good standing. Successful applicants will have recent (last 1 year) clinical experience, and employment at 2 or fewer institutions.  We are regrettably unable to provide visa sponsorship. 

Interested applicants should submit the following materials:

Current CV

Personal statement (one page only)

USMLE Step scores with a certified transcript from the USMLE

One letter of recommendation from your current/most recent program director, two current letters of recommendation from faculty

Medical school transcript and MSPE

ABSITE scores
