St. James Bay Golf Resort & Pickleball is seeking an engaging and professional PGA Teaching Professional (Independent Contractor) to lead private instruction, clinics, and player‑development programming for golfers of all ages and skill levels. This role is ideal for a motivated instructor who thrives in a supportive, community‑focused resort environment and enjoys building long‑term relationships with members, guests, and seasonal residents.

The Teaching Professional will have full access to our practice facilities, driving range, short‑game areas, and on‑course teaching opportunities. This position offers flexible scheduling, strong earning potential, and the freedom to design innovative programming that enhances the overall golf experience at St. James Bay Golf & Pickleball Resort.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality private lessons, group clinics, and player‑development programs for adults and juniors.
• Deliver clear, effective instruction tailored to each student's goals, skill level, and learning style.
• Conduct on‑course playing lessons to support real‑world skill application and course‑management improvement.
• Develop and promote seasonal programming, including beginner series, junior camps, women's clinics, and specialty sessions.
• Maintain a professional presence on the practice tee, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with resort staff, members, and guests regarding scheduling, programming, and student progress.
• Represent St. James Bay with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service at all times.
• Manage independent‑contractor responsibilities, including scheduling, student communication, and lesson revenue tracking.
