Description
The Crimson Course Transformation Initiative (CCTI) is a project designed to leverage various data sources and evidence-based teaching practices to improve student success rates in large-enrollment courses. CCTI and this position are assigned to the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning.Job Summary
- Responsible for managing the logistics of the CCTI project, ensuring excellent organization and communication
- Schedules meetings, takes and distributes notes
- Arranges for meeting spaces, hospitality, and other event details
- Schedules and coordinates research activities such as class observations and focus groups
- Manages task assignments of graduate and undergraduate assistants
- Synthesizes and reports on results of observations and focus groups
- Manages project files and materials using Microsoft Teams/Sharepoint
- Tracks task assignments and progress using project management software, and assembles weekly status reports
- Drafts project reports and updates CCTI website
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
- Associates or baccalaureate degree
Required
- Experience with Microsoft Task or equivalent project management software
- Teaching experience
Required
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong speaking and writing skills
- Quantitative research skills
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
