The Department of Business Law and Ethics at the Kelley School of Business is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to assist with exam preparation, coordination, and proctoring. This position offers an excellent opportunity for graduate or PhD students to gain professional experience in an academic setting and contribute to the department's instructional operations.
General Responsibilities
- Prepares and organizes exam materials (e.g., printing, copying, assembling).
- Coordinates exam logistics, including scheduling, room reservations, and resource setup.
- Proctors exams to ensure fairness, compliance, and academic integrity.
- Manages confidential information responsibly.
- Communicates with faculty, staff, and students regarding exam schedules and procedures.
- Provides general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and responding to exam-related inquiries.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)

- Experience in an academic or administrative environment

- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive materials
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office technology
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
Work Hours
Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on exam periods and departmental needs.
