Overview

The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to members and guests at the club. This position supports the golf operations team by assisting with essential outside services, such as bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas. The attendant is responsible for staging and storing golf carts, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use. Additionally, the role involves providing various golf-related services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all golfers.

Experience Required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
• High attention to detail and reliability.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support.
• Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member/guest experience.
• Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track their usage, and ensure carts are cleaned and well-maintained.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, and practice facilities.
• Set up and manage practice areas stocked with equipment for daily use.
• Collaborate with other golf operations staff to ensure seamless service throughout the day.
• Complete daily assignments to maintain club standards and organization of the Golf Shop.
