DOC is looking to fill Physician Assistant position in Las Vegas, NV. The positions come with a competitive salary and excellent benefits!

One opportunity is to work directly with an Orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in Sports Medicine. Clinical and surgical experience with this specialty preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and ability to work well within a team are a must.
Education and Experience:
Must be certified or eligible for certification as a Physician Assistant, and eligible for prescriptive authority in the State of Nevada. Orthopaedic background preferred.

Requirements
- Assisting in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related injuries and orthopaedic conditions of the shoulder, elbow, and knee in clinical setting.
- Participating in nonoperative, pre-operative, and post-operative patient care, including patient education and follow-up.
- Performing procedures such as joint injections and aspirations in the clinic.
- Assisting in surgical procedures, including arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, and other operative surgeries.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans.
- Collaborating with the surgeon to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Assisting in doing postoperative orders and referrals.
- Participating in sports medicine outreach programs, team building and promotional events.
- Lift, push, and pull, more than 50lbs.
- Standing more than 6-8hours.
- Working from a desktop/tablet more than 6-8hours.
- Working in a challenging environment.
