Here's the Gist:
In this role you will develop, improve, enhance, and maintain all scheduling/dispatching logic in our brand new, fully automated Mohawk Valley fab.
The Day-to-Day:
- BS degree from a four-year college/university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Knowledge in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and/or Spotfire.
- Demonstrated experience in SQL writing database queries (Oracle and SQL Server).
- Proficient with databases and data analysis tools (SQL, Oracle, Excel, VBA, JMP, etc.)
- Self-motivated and ability to learn on one's own.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate specs provided by users to visualized reports in a clean and clear way.
- High motivation with continuous drive for improvement.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
- Specific experience in scheduling/dispatching and data analytics solutions within wafer FAB using commercial MES, AMHS, MCS and dispatching/scheduling solutions
- Proven experience in supporting highly automated/paperless new FAB startups as well as 24/7 FAB support.
- Ability to work independently and in teams on multiple, simultaneous projects.
- Excellent knowledge in factory physics and operations research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent observational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
