Position Summary
We are seeking an individual with a diverse skillset to join the Summit Creek Advisors’ Operations team. The ideal candidate will be interested in quickly learning and taking on several roles in a small office environment. The candidate must possess adept communication skills for interacting with investment staff, clients, and vendors, assisting with regulatory and due diligence inquiries, and resolving periodic reporting, reconciliation, and IT challenges. We are a small team in search of a well-rounded individual willing to contribute to our firm’s success in a myriad of ways.

- Has the ability to oversee the enhancement and implementation of firm processes and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and organize an efficient process for voting proxies for companies held in client portfolios
- Assist with regulatory filings, examinations, and other compliance-related tasks
- Become adept in the equity trading function in the event of an absence on the trading desk
- Liaise with the firm’s third-party IT service provider to manage the firm’s network infrastructure, cloud, phone system, and internet service provider
- Manage and assist in updating the firm’s website
- Perform due diligence on prospective, new, and existing vendors
- Provide oversight to the third-party conducting daily account reconciliations
- Assist with the firm’s marketing material production process to ensure professional-looking distributions to clients
- Administer certain employee benefits and gain a firm understanding of federal and state-level human resource requirements
- Improve the firm’s processes and procedures for all operational tasks
- Plan and organize ad-hoc corporate and office projects and initiatives
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 1 to 5 years of experience in investment operations or similar role with a Registered Investment Advisor
- Broad understanding of accounting, investment operations, compliance, human resources, and office management
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Location
