Opportunity InformationSutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, physician-led team in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern ambulatory urgent care setting with strong clinical leadership and operational support.
Position Highlights
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries across the lifespan
- Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, EKGs, and imaging
- Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice and scope of licensure
- Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and coordination when clinically indicated
- Practice within a highly respected, physician-led organization
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- National certification as an NP (FNP or equivalent) or PA-C
- Active, unrestricted California license
- Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS as applicable
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience preferred
