Description
KNWA & FOX24 are looking for an aggressive, innovative, and creative Newscast & Streaming Producer to help take our content to the next level. This unique position blends the fast-paced world of live television news with the dynamic, evolving landscape of digital and streaming media.We're looking for someone who thrives on breaking news, investigative storytelling, and the challenge of making stories pop across platforms. You'll be producing evening newscasts, contributing to digital content, and helping develop original programming for our streaming platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce impactful evening newscasts that inform and engage the community
- Write and edit daily news stories for television and digital platforms
- Make editorial decisions in breaking news situations
- Collaborate with anchors, reporters, and production staff
- Fill in on other shifts as needed
- Prep and assist in OBS recordings and live productions, including camera, audio, and lighting setup
- Participate in the development of new original programs for 479 First
- Work with creative services to design graphics, opens, and other visual elements
- Coordinate with talent and management to ensure smooth production
- Manage encoding, uploading, and platform compatibility for streaming
- Stay current with digital trends and viewer preferences

Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/Film, or equivalent
- Experience in television or radio broadcast/production preferred
- Strong news judgment and understanding of audience needs
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy
- Ability to work well with video journalists, anchors, editors, and engineers
- Familiarity with digital and streaming platforms
